I'm Tom Barry (resume), usually known as trbarry most places on the web. I'm a software engineer with 20+ years of experience, mostly doing assembler language software product development (preferably video) on PC's and IBM mainframes.

For the last few years I've been interested in HDTV and video processing, writing GPL'd open source filters for DScaler and Avisynth. You can find most of these filters (including source code) in my downloads section. The HDTV section will eventually contain some of my efforts and a number of screen images.

I'm also interested in Tai Chi Chuan and have been studying it for about 8 years now. I'll be filling out those sections in the future but they are mostly empty for the moment.
